I have been in NYC all week for business and visiting my family, I must have forgotten to rest up because over the last two days I have come down with a nasty cold. Needless to say my body and soul need to rest, so I will be taking it easy on this beautiful autumn... Continue Reading →
My Home is My Heart is a Treasured Companion
My Home is My Heart is a Treasured Companion The day started early and ends quietly as the shadows slip into view from the juxtaposition of light cast from the skylights and windows against my body as it moves observingly across the soft brown wooden floor. It’s raining outside and the quietness envelops me... Continue Reading →
Waking up to love
"I'd rather wake up wishing I hadn't than wishing I had."
Sometimes starting over is the best thing that can happen to us
“That’s exactly where you want to be: steeped to your eyebrows in failure. It’s a good place to be because failure is where success likes to hide in plain sight. Everything you want out of life is in failure. The trick is to get the good stuff out.” ~ Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert We have... Continue Reading →
This is our life, these are our times, and it is NOW!
So sorry I have neglected my Saturday Soul blog, it's not that I haven't had anything to say, I have, I just haven't felt like saying it. I have been quiet and contemplative and introspective and thinking about the stuff going on in my life. As always I want to share my experiences and insights... Continue Reading →
The Rose that Blooms is a Rose
"The rose is without why it blossoms because it blossoms." - Angelus Silesius I am closing the laptop and turning off the last of the lights as I bring this beautiful birthday, my birthday June 27, to a close. I feel so full, so satisfied, and rich with life and love. I have spent the... Continue Reading →

Love isn’t perfect and neither is he
"He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. He isn’t going to... Continue Reading →

Let the Sunshine In – Get Inspiration from Spring!
Let the Sunshine In – Get Inspiration from Spring!
This is a celebration time, I mean literally, it’s Spring! Following the heralding of Spring comes Passover and many other opportunities to celebrate newness of life, hope, prosperity, teach us about forgiveness and rebirth, and exalt the glories of love. This brings me to what I am thinking about and embracing today: a new awareness of my being, a fresh approach to working and giving myself to my talents, embracing forgiveness and hope, love and faith. These are the facets of our existence that I believe are the core of our humanity and that bind us all together and bring beauty into our lives.
I wish for each of you a blessing of inner awareness and insight into the amazing human being that you are; the gift of hope and being able to see through your circumstances to grasp the journey that…

Alone in New York City
I work alone (mostly) and travel frequently. Sometimes after a long trip when I have been working, I bring home with me more longing for connection and love than ever before. Funny, you can feel more alone in a large, populated place like NYC than a small town. Everywhere you look there are opportunities for... Continue Reading →
What are you waiting for?
One small shift - reading more, gossiping less, taking up dancing - can start a revolution and lead to a new profession, relationship, or mind-set. What are you waiting for?

Don't wait on someone else to make the first move, if you are feeling it, do it! Call that old friend, text... Continue Reading →

Wake Up and Be Awesome!
We have the choice, you know. To be awesome or to be unhappy, loving or mediocre, or just plain miserable. I have always said that we simply need to change our gaze in order to change our attitude. When the sh*t is hitting the fan we can stand in front of it and get blasted... Continue Reading →
