I am on a mission for awareness, I want to learn to just be…me. I read the follow quote on my Zen Meditation calendar. Although I do not practice Zen, I am enriched daily by its wisdom and simplicity. I hope to continue to discover the secrets of becoming more aware of the beauty of life each day as it is given to me and embrace it as it happens -in all its many manifestations. Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars…and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they aren’t going to become first ministers or presidents and they aren’t going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers – for no reason. It’s simply unbelievable how happy flowers are.

Great post Sandy – happiness always comes from within. Flowers and Trees draw from the soil they are planted in, and so should we. “Consider the lilies of the filed, they do not toss or toil to be who they be – they just be!”
